I am seduced by pastel,
fragile and pure.
Velvet.
I rub, and my fingers tingle
working obsessively, vulnerable,
in my studio cocoon.
Bliss.
Burnish and stitch.
How can I pin down
cosmic dust with sacred thread?
Dualities float, anchored by delight:
Is it ritual
or distraction?
Does it hold hope
or tempt insanity?
Anticipation is ripe
but noise fills the air.
Sumptuous particles
devour rawness.
The hand knows how to thread the heart.
